This site was created, from scratch, on a Mac using the text editor Coda for PHP, XHTML and CSS. The image editor GIMP was used to create the header, blockquote and image shadows (the profile pict itself is touched up in Photoshop). The fonts used are Helvetica and Georgia (Arial and Times are lower in the font-stack). jQuery, jQuery Colorbox, and jQuery Plugin for Twitter are used. Automator and some clever Applescripting awesomely snags updated text content from my Android tablet and Picassa galleries, resizes and generates thumbnails and places it all neatly in my development directory which is then synced to the server. Nice.
